Why we exist
Moving to a new country takes courage, and it can be lonely. You leave behind the people who understood you without needing an explanation. Then you open a dating app, and it sorts people by postcode, as if distance were the thing that mattered most.
International dating also has a bad reputation, and it was earned: fake profiles, romance scams, and people treated as a route to a visa. We wanted to build the opposite. A place where everyone is checked by a person, where your languages and your story count for more than your postcode, and where nobody can use where you come from against you.
What we believe
- Verified before visible. A person checks every member’s selfie against their photos before anyone can see them.
- Matched on what you share. Languages, home country, the year you arrived and what you are looking for count for more than distance.
- Seeing who liked you is free, forever. Messaging your matches and every safety feature are free too.
- Private by design. We never ask about your immigration status, there are no ethnicity filters, and we do not sell your data or show adverts.
- Adults only. Everyone here is 18 or over.
Who it is for
Anyone aged 18 or over, whatever their nationality, origin or immigration status, wherever they live. That includes immigrants, expats, refugees, international students and people coming home after years away, and it includes people who have never moved and want to date across cultures.
Not ready to date? Settling-in mode is for friendship only, with no romantic expectations.
Where we are now
We are a young, independent service. Registration is worldwide: anyone aged 18 or over can join, wherever they live, and matching works across borders. What you share comes first, distance is only a tie-breaker, and you can say whether you are open to long distance. If sign-ups are not open yet when you visit, leave your email and we will write to you once, when we launch.
We are honest about what is ready. Age checks and apps for Android and iPhone are coming soon. Until then, the website works in your phone’s browser.
